Igniting Love and Care: A Charity Project for Quake-affected Children in Sichuan

The Hong Kong Heritage Museum has teamed up with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Chow Tai Fook to launch a series of good-will events designed to enrich the lives of young victims of the quake that shook Sichuan in 2008 and raise awareness among Hong Kong people of the aftermath of the disaster. The activities included "Heart to Heart, Hand in Hand: A Tour of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum", a gift pack consisting of two stuffed toys and the comic booklet, Dreaming over the Bright Blue Sky, delivered to children in Sichuan by UNICEF ambassadors. Besides, MuseKids were also invited to join the "Little Artists Big Dreams Drawing Competition" held during the China Children's Week 2009, with their winning works alongside snapshots of the project shown at a mini exhibition in the Children's Discovery Gallery.
