"The Ancient Olympic Games"
English Fun Tour for Primary Schools: A Happy Encore! programme Costumed as ancient Greeks, a group of native-speaking English drama actors guided the participants - also clad in ancient Greek costumes - through the exhibition hall, relating myths and facts about the exhibits on display as well as the ancient Olympics Games and Greek culture. After the tour, the participants heard, learnt and got a taste of English used in a lively and entertaining short play using the ancient Olympic Games as the main theme. |
