Docent Tour and Audio Guide Service

Guided Tours for General Public

The museum provides free guided tours for the exhibition of "Dunhuang: Untold Tales, Untold Riches" to museum visitors. The tours will be conducted in Thematic Galleries (1) to (5), 1/F. Places are limited on a first-come-first-served basis.

Programmes are subject to change without prior notice.

Tour in Cantonese

Date 3 December 2014 – 15 March 2015 (every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday)
Time 11:30 am – 1:00 pm / 2:15 pm – 3:45 pm
Meeting Point G/F, Public Tour Meeting Point
Enrolment Enrolment starts at 11am / 1:45pm. Please sign up at the G/F Guided Tour Service Counter.
Remarks Participant should hold valid admission ticket of this exhibition or a museum pass.

Enrolment Free with valid admission ticket of this exhibition or a Museum Pass. Each session can accommodate around 20 participants, on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrolment starts at 3:00 pm. Please sign up at the G/F Guided Tour Service Counter.
Remarks The programme will be conducted in English or Putonghua. 
Due to programme scheduling, only Putonghua sessions are available on 1 December 2014, 26 January 2015 and 5 March 2015.


 

"Portable Dunhuang Story Player" Audio Guide Programme    

"Portable Dunhuang Story Player" is an audio guide programme jointly produced by the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre for the exhibition Dunhuang: Untold Tales, Untold Riches. The contents of selected exhibits with dramatic elements will be narrated in the form of lively radio dramas to take the audience on a voyage through the imaginary world of Dunhuang Caves.
