Looking Back and Moving Forward — Chronography of the HK-SZ Design Twincities Design Exchange

Hong Kong Heritage Museum
2/F Corridor
19 November 2016 – 10 March 2017

Organised by Hong Kong Federation of Design Associations
Strategic partner: Hong Kong Heritage Museum

Over the past 40 years, the design industry exchanges between Shenzhen and Hong Kong have been changed and deepened. From point to plane, the exchange stage has become wider and wider. This has facilitated the integration of resources and innovations between the two cities.

With in-depth interviews with the key industry figures from both cities, the materials will be gathered, documented and presented as an interactive interface with AR (augmented reality) technology at the exhibition at Hong Kong Heritage Museum. Visitors will use their smartphones to scan the provided AR codes posted at the museum defining a brand new museum experience for the visitors.
