Entrance of the Children Discovery Gallery
G/F, Hong Kong Heritage Museum
10 February – 17 April 2017

Presented by Leisure and Cultural Services Department
Organised by Hong Kong Heritage Museum

The display takes as its blueprint from a study report completed in 2015 entitled "Report on Hong Kong Graphic Design History in 1970s - 1980s". The development of graphic design in Hong Kong during this period forms the central narrative of the display, which is complemented by selected quotes from interviews of designers as well as the showcasing of their works through objects and reproductions. Together, they re-capture the creative process of graphic designers in this wonderful era by recreating the historical settings against which their profession evolved.

The display features the graphics and publications to present
the history and creative process of Hong Kong graphic design in 1970s and 1980s.
