The Leading Actress, Perfidious Concubine and Beloved Grandma – Lee Hong Kum's Artistic Career

Throughout a career in the performing arts that stretches over more than 60 years, Lee Hong Kum has made outstanding achievements in Cantonese opera, film and television. In 2016, she generously donated more than 200 Cantonese opera treasures to Hong Kong Heritage Museum, which was indeed an invaluable addition to the Museum's collections. Showcasing the highlights of her costumes, historical documents and photos, an exhibition entitled "The Leading Actress, Perfidious Concubine and Beloved Grandma – Lee Hong Kum's Artistic Career" is currently on display in the Cantonese Opera Heritage Hall to give the audience an opportunity to revisit her opera career and the elegant impression she made on the silver screen.
