How much do you know about village life in the olden times? This hands-on activity lets children find out the similarities and differences between village life past and present.

The activity is open to 10 children aged 4 to 8 per session on a first-come-first served basis. Please sign up at the entrance to the Children's Discovery Gallery 30 minutes before the programme commences.

Making Delicious Traditional Chinese Food
To celebrate the new year and share the joys of the season, we traditionally visit our relatives and friends during the Chinese New Year holidays. So let's prepare some festive food - some fried rice cakes, Hakka dumplings and Hakka tea - to serve our guests as they arrive in the village house of the Children's Discovery Gallery.
