Facilities

Exhibition galleries

There are six permanent exhibition galleries for the display of the museum's collections and six thematic galleries for temporary exhibitions.

Theatre

With a seating capacity of 400, the multipurpose theatre is a sophisticated venue for Cantonese opera, musical performances, lectures, seminars, ceremonies and multimedia presentations.

Education studios and Seminar rooms

The education studios and seminar rooms are fully equipped for hosting educational activities such as lectures, demonstrations, courses and workshops.

Museum Gift Shop and Museum Tea House

Visitors can get souvenir items and museum publications at the gift shop, while the cafe serves drinks, snacks and light meals.

Hong Kong Heritage Museum

(valid on Mondays, Wednesdays to Saturdays)

Note: Visitors will be requested to produce Hong Kong Heritage Museum admission tickets or valid Museum Weekly Pass, Monthly Pass and Museum Pass for checking.

Free Bicycle Parking Ares

For visitors who cycle to the museum, we have also set up a free bicycle parking area with 10 spaces. However, you should bring your own bicycle lock. After visiting the museum, you will need to show your admission ticket or Museum Pass to the security guard in charge before you collect your bicycle.
