The Art of Lo Ching Yuan: Chinese Ink Painting Talk and Demonstration
Lo Ching Yuan is a renowned artist of the third generation of the Lingnan School, who studied painting with Professor Chao Shao-an. Mr Lo adheres to the Lingnan School's focus on observation-oriented, realistic styles, and demonstrates sophisticated mastery of brushwork, creating paintings with a variety of themes, imbuing the subjects of nature with vitality. He often expresses his aspirations and passion through his painting.
Immersed in art creation for many years, Mr Lo has exhibited his works in Hong Kong, the United States, Malaysia, Taiwan, Canada, and many other places around the world. He has actively fostered a new generation of talent. He set up the Wanshan Painting Studio in Hong Kong, founded the Nan Tian Artists Association after moving to Taiwan, and compiled three volumes of To Paint in Lingnan Style. Mr Lo also serves as art advisor in many painting associations, with the mission of promoting the art of Lingnan School.
Mr Lo will share with participants the creative characteristics and inheritance of the art of Lingnan School. He will also give a live demonstration of creating a painting with "pine tree and eagle" as the theme, enabling the participants to appreciate the unique style of this school of art and the magnificent skills of this master of painting.
