Arts or Action, Why Not Both? From Arts to Action Music Concert 

Albert Au will join hands with different singers to deliver a captivating performance. With the accompaniment of a live band, they will reinterpret these beloved classic songs in a unique style, infusing them with fresh elements and breathing new life into the treasures of Hong Kong pop music. The concert will also showcase theme songs from martial arts dramas, in harmony with the Festival’s theme of “Arts and Action”, allowing the audience to reminisce and immerse themselves in those unforgettable moments.

Arts or Action, Why Not Both? ICH Extraordinary: Chinese Martial Arts and Films

Chinese martial arts come in a wide array of sophisticated and profound forms. Many of them have been presented cinematically while the fist skills and footwork routines featured in the films did impress so many of us. The series of “ICH Extraordinary: Chinese Martial Arts and Film” will discuss kung fu in the Hong Kong’s films, reveal the diversity of Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage (ICH) and showcase the “Arts and Action” of the Hong Kong Pop Culture.   

​The programme is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series. The LCSD has all along promoted Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public learn more about broad and profound Chinese culture.
