“Wisdom of the Heart: Calligraphy Appreciation of The Heart Sutra” Hard-Pen Calligraphy Practical Course
To coincide with the exhibition “Buddhist Pilgrimage: Treasures from the Donation of The Tsui Art Foundation”, The Tsui Art Foundation has invited renowned calligrapher Ms Linda Lau to host a hard-pen calligraphy practical course, providing young people with the opportunity to explore the essence of Chinese traditional culture.
The hard-pen calligraphy course consists of four sessions, which will include proper posture, how to hold the pen, the benefits of learning calligraphy, basic techniques, practice, and insights on writing The Heart Sutra. Under Ms Lau’s guidance, the participants will engage in focused writing, experiencing the serenity of calligraphy and the joy it brings. The participants will receive a certificate of participation.
