The exhibition “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Meet Mona Lisa & Portraying the Renaissance” at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum will last until from July 27th, 2026. To coincide with the exhibition, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will launch “Locate Mona Lisa’s Whereabouts”, sponsored by the Sha Tin District Office, offering the public an opportunity to explore distinctive attractions in Sha Tin alongside visiting the exhibition.
Comprising two sections, the exhibition is highly distinctive, guiding visitors through time and space to appreciate the Mona Lisa from a fresh perspective. The first section “Meet Mona Lisa” is jointly produced by the Musée du Louvre and the Grand Palais Immersif. Through digital media and interactive installations, visitors feel as though they are immersed in the 500-year legendary journey of the Mona Lisa, enjoying a novel immersive experience. The second section of the exhibition “Portraying the Renaissance” showcases rare Renaissance treasures on loan from cultural institutions from France and Italy, including the Musée national de la Renaissance and the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana. Among these highlights are four original manuscripts by Leonardo da Vinci — offering audiences a rare opportunity to see them.
